Heavy Metal Reflection

So I am currently on a quest to find a heavy metal song to play as a reflection. If padre will go ballistic then I’ll use it next year when I (hopefully) have Mensel.

Songs I have currently come up with:
Framing Armageddon — Iced Earth
I Am — dope
Heart of a Dragon — Dragonforce
Walls & Fear — Haste the Day
Who We Are — Haste the Day
Ei Pelkoa — Kylahullut (It’s not english but I can translate it…)
Aesthetics of Hate — Machine Head
Seize the Day — Avenged Sevenfold

All I can come up with for now, maybe when I’m not bored trying to work on Genocide and Holocaust I’ll look for/add more.

Things I wish to bring back

So recently I’ve thoughtof a lot of things that should be brought back out of sheer awesomeness. Here’s my list so far.

The circle game (also known as the asshole game)
The game (you know the game, I just lost and you probably did too)
Slap bracelets
Walkie-talkies
Finger-painting AND nap time during school
The mouse with the ball inside
Scooters
N64 tournaments
Burns (you got burned)

Comment and let me know if you have any and I’ll update as I think of stuff.

Funny Words

When you should be doing Genocide and Holocaust you think of things to do instead of writing about people dying. So to lighten the mood here’s a list of funny words I can think of:

Fribble
Pancreas
Roger (In old British it means to have sex as in: Want to roger tonight?)
Poppycock
Masticate
Cocksure
Kumquat
Mustachioed (To have a mustache)
Logohhrea (Means to talk alot)
Shart
Squeegee
Bangkok
Meatus (Natural opening canal)
Pogonotrophy (Growing a beard)
Meat Whistle (Watch movies and you’ll see people actually use this)
Dildo, Newfoundland (It’s a real place I swear)
Humptulips, Washington
Fucking, Austria
Richard Cranium (Think about it)
The nether regions of a woman
Piddle
Breaking Wind
The aquatic scrotum, the scientific name for a frog which generally resides in Lake Titicaca, is a large, wrinkly frog, with layers of skin that it uses to breathe.
Wet Banana

Ok I should get back to work…except I probably won’t. I know there are tons of others but these are just what I could think of/a few a looked up.

Nostradamus

Ok so I was listening to Judas Priest’s new album called Nostradamus when I got bored and looked up Nostradamus. For those who don’t know he was a French seer who has predicted a lot of things that have happened. However, hes like the Bible, hes vague (religious people don’t go overboard the Bible is vague in places and I’m not meaning to be sacrilegious.  Like 9-11. Nostradamus said this:

“In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb”,
The third big war will begin when the big city is burning”

If we were to assume the City of God was New York then it fits. Two brothers torn apart were the world trade towers. The fortress is the Pentagon because it still stands. Great leader is the USA succumbing. However he predicted that in 2012 the third world war will begin. The last part has not been fulfilled but the first part has been if you take that stance.

Another he has predicted without a doubt is the Great Fire in London. London’s great fire was in 1666. He said this

The blood of the just will be demanded of London,
Burnt by the fire in the year 66

Although only 6 people died, he predicted the year dead on. And yes he was dead 100 years 2 months exactly before that.

Here’s another, see if you can guess who he predicted.

From the deepest part of Western Europe
A young child will be born to poor people
Who will by his speech seduce a great multitude,
His reputation will increase in the Kingdom of the East”

(Century 3, Quatrain 35)

Beasts ferocious with hunger will cross the rivers,
The greater part of the battlefield will be against Hister.
Into a cage of iron will the great one be drawn,
When the child of Germany observes nothing.

(Century 2, Quatrain 24)

In the year very not far from Venus,
The two greatest ones of Asia and of Africa:
They are said to have come from the Rhine and from
Hister Cries, tears at Malta and the Ligurian sea-coast.

(Century 4, Quatrain 68)

Liberty will not be regained,
It will be occupied by a black, proud, villainous and unjust man:
When the matter of the Pontiff is opened,
The republic of Venice will be vexed by Hister.

(Century 5, Quatrain 29)

The shocking and infamous armed one will fear the great furnace,
First the chosen one, the captives not returning
The world’s lowest crime, the Angry Female Irale – Israel – not at ease,
Barb, Hister, Malta, and the Empty One does not return.

(Century 1, Quatrain 35)

It’s Hitler!. Hister does not actually mean Hitler if you were wondering. It means the river Danube, where Hitler was born.  He talks about Hitlers poor parents, the Great Furnace (you should know what that is) Hitlers conquest of Spain and Africa.  Cage of Iron could mean the panzer regiments and the famous tiger tanks which did not exist in Nostradamus’ age.

All in all his predictions are really cool. Sometimes vague sometimes not some are accurate. Funny thing is he predicted people by their exact name like Louis Pasteur and Francisco Franco. So tell me, do you believe his predictions are accurate? Knowing his accuracy of some things, do you think the third world war will begin around 2012, the same year the Mayans predicted?

New Bands

So Frau hasn’t made us post anything yet but AP chem is boring. For all you heavy metal fans, I have recently found a new toy that has let me uncover many new bands. Last.fm is an awesome place to find music. Plus you can download a radio thing that plays only songs you like from bands you like or may be interested in. http://www.last.fm/user/stonehollow is my page if anyone is interested.

Anyways new metal bands I have found and liked:

Alestorm – “Scottish Pirate Metal” as they call themselves
Kalmah – Folk metal
Kiuas – Dark ageish metal
Korpiklaani – Finnish Folk Metal (many songs are completely in Finnish FYI)
Kotipelto – Dark ageish metal
Sonata Arctica – Power metal
Warmen – Melodic Speed Metal..actually not new but I did find their songs. Lead person is keyboardist Janne Warman who plays for Children of Bodom and a few side projects but awesome band if you like melodic metal with keyboards. Very few songs contain lyrics though.

And every day I find more bands to add to my collection of music. Last.fm does NOT support Zune player so song count for me is based solely on Last.fm radio. It does work with iTunes, WinAMP, Windows Media Player, and many other popular generic brands of media players.

Back to AP chem….joys.
